SANY India Showcases Next-Gen Equipment at EXCON 2025

SANY India presented its latest machinery portfolio at EXCON 2025, featuring 39 machines designed for construction, mining, lifting, and electric equipment applications. The exhibition focused on equipment engineered to support India’s infrastructure development goals, with a particular emphasis on electrification, cost efficiency, and digital intelligence. The presentation aligns with the EXCON 2025 theme: “Chariots of Development – Every Man. Every Machine. Every Minute. Working Towards Viksit Bharat.”

Deepak Garg, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of SANY India and South Asia, stated that the products bring global innovation with enhanced intelligence, efficiency, and sustainability features aimed at increasing customer productivity.

The excavator lineup includes models such as SY33C PRO, SY38U PRO, SY150C PRO, SY220C-9 XL SPARC+, and SY390C-10 HD GraMa+, designed for urban development, quarrying, and mining applications. Notably, SANY is introducing two electric excavators: the SY215EP, a 21-ton cable-operated model with a 150 kW motor, and the SY375EP, a 38-ton class excavator with a 200 kW motor delivering 1140 Nm torque. Both electric models operate on 3-phase AC power and claim up to three times lower operating costs compared to diesel alternatives.

In material handling, SANY is launching 3-ton and 5-ton electric forklifts with IP67 protection, liquid-cooled systems, and lithium-ion batteries, suitable for ports, steel plants, and logistics operations.

The foundation solutions segment features the SR235 MIII multifunctional drilling rig, which offers rotary, CFA, cased, and low-headroom piling capabilities. This segment also includes fully electric heavy-duty trucks with approximately 70% lower operating costs.

For mining operations, the portfolio includes the SY680EP 65-ton electric excavator, SW956E electric loader, and SW978K Pro diesel loader. In cranes, the SRC400CR BS-V rough-terrain crane is designed for industrial and infrastructure projects. Road equipment additions include an 11-ton single drum roller, 9-ton double drum roller, and a 9-tyre pneumatic roller.

Sanjay Saxena, COO of SANY India, noted that the product lineup incorporates feedback from contractors, mining operators, fleet owners, and logistics leaders, with engineering adapted for Indian conditions.

SANY India operates a manufacturing facility in Chakan, Pune, established with an investment exceeding INR 1000 crores in 2012. The company maintains a network of 42 dealers and 260 touchpoints across India, with more than 35,000 machines deployed for infrastructure projects in India and South Asian countries.

The company produces equipment across multiple categories, including earth moving, lifting, foundation, mining, ports, concrete, roads, and renewable energy solutions. At EXCON 2025, industry professionals have the opportunity to view live demonstrations and interact directly with engineering specialists, highlighting SANY India’s commitment to advanced, sustainable, and customer-centric construction solutions.
